Shir Hadash Livestream

There’s nothing quite like experiencing Kol Nidre or the sound of the shofar in person. Yet we know that some people may not be able to attend services for a variety of reasons. This year HEA will be web streaming Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur live from our Shir Hadash services at Bethany Church.

The live video broadcast will be available for the morning services of Rosh Hashanah (September 21 & 22) at 9:30 a.m., the evening of Kol Nidre (September 29) at 6:40 p.m., and Yom Kippur (September 30) starting at 9:30 a.m. Click HERE.

High Holiday Forms

Watch your mail for the High Holidays letter and tickets. Your High Holidays tickets allow you admission to either Traditional services at the HEA or Shir Hadash services at Bethany Lutheran Church.

Traditional Services at the HEA
The Traditional High Holiday services will be held at the Hebrew Educational Alliance, 3600 South Ivanhoe Street, Denver, CO, 80237

Shir Hadash Services at Bethany Lutheran Church
Shir Hadash services will be held at Bethany Lutheran Church, 4500 East Hampden Avenue and Dahlia Street. Bethany is located 0.9 mile west of the Alliance on Hampden Avenue. Shir Hadash High Holiday services will be held on both mornings of Rosh Hashanah, Kol Nidre evening, and Yom Kippur day.

Babysitting Information

The HEA is pleased to provide babysitting at both the Shir Hadash and Traditional High Holiday services. For safety Purposes, babysitting services will only be provided to families who pre-register. In order to ensure that we have the proper number of staff people to safely care for all children, the deadline for registering is September 12. Late fees will be collected for anyone registering after the deadline. Please fill out the form completely and return it to the Preschool office.

Junior Congregation and Teen Programming for High Holidays 2017...

As the High Holidays are just around the corner, we want to get the word out ASAP about this year’s offerings. As in years past, we will be offering Junior Congregation for
children in grades Pre K-grade 7, and Teen Programming for teens in grades 8-12.

As your youth's safety and security are of the utmost importance, this year we are requiring pre-registration to gather specific information—authorized pick-ups,
allergy information, and emergency contact information. This form must be filled out by Friday, September 15.

Junior Congregation
Rosh Hashanah Day 1 (Thursday Sept. 21), Day 2 (Friday, Sept. 22), and Yom Kippur (Saturday, Sept. 30)
Grades Pre-K-2 will be located in the Main HEA Building on the lower level. Grades 3-7 will be located in the Goldberger Youth Center (GYC) across the street from the main HEA Building. Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m. Pick up is at 1:15 p.m.

Teen Programming
Rosh Hashanah Day 1 (Thursday, Sept. 21), Day 2 (Friday, Sept. 22), and Yom Kippur (Saturday, Sept. 30)
Grades 8-12 are located at Bethany Lutheran Church, where Shir Hadash services are held. Your teen can be dropped off directly at Bethany Lutheran Church at 10:00 a.m., or can be dropped off at the Goldberger Youth Center and escorted over by Teen Programming staff. The teens can either leave with a parent after the Shir Hadash service is over or they will be escorted back to the GYC. Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m.

Please note there is no programming offered for Kol Nidre. Please make alternate arrangements if your child needs care.

Upon receiving your registration, we will email you with more specific details about drop off and pick up, classes, and any other important information. We look forward to spending the holidays with you and your family.
